Serabit El Khadem is the most significant Pharaonic site in the Sinai, located in a stunning desert environment where flat, eroded ranges meet the wide sandy belt stretching under the Tih Plateau. Turquoise was mined in the area and there is a temple dedicated to Goddess Hathor. Serabit El Khadim can be visited by 4×4 as part of an off-road desert adventure – following are the images of such a trip. Camel and walking safaris can also be organized in the area or destinations further away.
