Submit to the Sinai Directory

You don’t need to be a registered user to submit to the directory. Submission is FREE. We treat emails as confidential and do not give them out to anyone. We might send a newsletter time to time about issues related to this site, from which you can unsubscribe with a single click.

If you are a business, organization or other entity (“project”) based or active in the Sinai, you can submit information about yourself in our Sinai directory free of charge. You can also submit information for others’ projects if you think they should be listed. Links to official websites are preferred – if a project does not have a website, you can give a link to a Facebook page or another website containing information about the project, or give only email and phone numbers. Submissions with a link to a third-party booking site will be automatically rejected. If a project offers a number of services different in nature, for example provides accommodation, food and runs tours as well, you should submit a separate form in each category. Only submit a project if the activity is predominantly or significantly related to the Sinai. For example if you are a Cairo based tour operator offering trips everywhere in Egypt, including the standard Sinai programs offered by most operators, your submission might not be accepted just because Sinai is also there along with your main activities. Also, be careful to put your submission only under the relevant categories. For example if you are offering quad biking or jeep runs around the city but not proper 4×4 desert safaris, do not tick that category. Similarily, camel riding along the coast is not a camel safari, or the Mt. Sinai hike does not come under ‘hiking and trekking’. As a rule of thumb, only claim things that can easily be verified from your website. It is a human edited directory and every submission is checked. If we think the information you provide is misleading, either intentionally or unintentionally, the submission will not be accepted. A submission can take from a few hours to a couple of weeks to appear. You can check the latest directory entries on the main page of the directory. We reserve the right to refuse a submission without explanation.
